One of my favourite shifts in the wedding world over recent years is without a doubt the growing popularity of celebrant ceremonies and the explosion of amazing, individual weddings in incredible locations.
Enter stage left, Cornish Celebrants.
Unlike religious or civil ceremonies where you have to comply with certain restrictions, a wedding conducted by a celebrant is limited only by your imagination.
It’s as simple as getting the legal piece of paper at the registry office and then arranging your perfect wedding day with a ceremony wherever you like, with the help of a professional celebrant.
Cornish Celebrants is run by the two most wonderful ladies, Nicola and Denise. Both formerly worked as registrars for the local authority, so they’re well rehearsed in conducting ceremonies, but now they’re able to work with couples to create something completely personal and bespoke.
As well as having complete free reign on your wedding location (beach, clifftop, in a cave, at the foot of a waterfall – all possible!), you also get control over the ceremony itself.
Long or short, poetry, readings, a rock ‘n’ roll guitar performance? Handfasting, unity candles or other traditional rites? Whatever you want, the Cornish Celebrants team will work closely with you to make sure that your wedding reflects you as a couple.
If the idea of having total freedom over your wedding fills you with excitement, be sure to look these ladies up. They are warm and friendly and so approachable. Say I sent you!
