Brand new North Cornwall wedding venue showcase: 7th April

Camel Studio is a stunning new wedding venue located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Cornwall.

In celebration of their launch, Camel Studio invites you to their launch event on 7th April. Pop along between 10.30am and 3.30pm to check out their magical rural setting.

The light-filled barn, which seats up to 80 guests, is a blank canvas for couples to style, and there are several ceremony options; from the beautiful barn to a stylish Sperry Tent in the garden, or al fresco with a patchwork of green fields as the backdrop.

On 7th April, the barn will be set for a wedding feast, with long vintage tables adorned with beautiful flowers. Suppliers – from florists to photographers, hairstylists to cake designers – will be on hand to answer questions and to breathe life into ideas.

You’ll have the chance to explore the barn and ceremony options and take a look at the boutique house that sleeps eight. Stylishly decorated with muted colours and a tasteful blend of contemporary and vintage, it is a perfect space for couples and their loved ones to enjoy before and after the wedding.

Camel Studio was converted into a photographic studio some years ago where internationally acclaimed photographer David Bailey used it for Vogue fashion shoots. When owners Helen Cotton and David Thomas took it over two years ago, they wanted to extend its use to include feast and music nights. With its stunning location, it felt like a natural extension to branch out into weddings. “It started with a few of our feast guests suggesting the studio would be perfect for weddings, which was enough to plant the seed,” says Helen. “With our amazing chef Liam Smith-Laing and experienced wedding planner Hazel Parsons on board, we felt we had the right ingredients. We’re now making a few changes to the barn in time for the launch, including a long picture window so guests can take in the stunning views whatever the weather.”

Come to the Camel Studio Wedding Venue Launch Event and enjoy a glass of prosecco, sample delicious canapés, chat to suppliers and explore this special venue – it won’t be long before you start to picture your very own wedding in this idyllic setting.

Entry is free but please get a ticket first to get a chance to win two tickets to one of Camel Studio’s feast nights.
